MDR in AIS aims to improve outcomes for Large Vessel Occlusion (LVO) Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) patients who are transferred to Comprehensive Stroke Centres (CSCs) for Mechanical Thrombectomy (MT) by implementing a streamlined stroke management pathway. The optimized pathway involves streamlining decision-making, enhancing collaboration, improving referrals, and leveraging telemedicine. These strategies will promote sustainability, patient-centered care, and optimize resource allocation.
