29th of October was World Stroke Day, a global campaign day for stroke awareness. We wanted to highlight how patiens can benefit from POC4TRIAGE research outcomes. For this purpose our partners from TriantecT and UMC took some time to explain what StrokePointer™ is about and what goal they aim to reach within POC4TRIAGE.
StrokePointer™ is one of four innovative medical devices in the project; it has been developed through a collaboration between Amsterdam UMC and TrianecT BV. The device can detect a major stroke in under three minutes. Under the POC4TRIAGE project, a new disposable EEG patch is being developed to make stroke detection even faster, easier and more comfortable for patients.
